MHSLCA Hall of Fame
Clarkston Head Coach & 2019 Hall of Fame Inductee Brian Kaminskis is chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee.

The Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association annually organizes a Hall of Fame review and induction ceremony to celebrate and honor those individuals who have gone far beyond the bounds of success and volunteering. The awards are announced on the Monday before Thanksgiving, and the awards are handed out on the day of the State Finals in June.
The Hall of Fame Committee believes that there are a great number of people who have helped the growth of lacrosse in our state who have never served as a Head Coach. To allow those individuals to be recognized, there are four categories in which a person can be nominated.
Head Coach | Assistant Coach | Legacy | Contributor
Head Coach Category (Max of 3):
A coach can still be nominated and considered, but would more than likely be placed in a contributor or category.
Assistant Coach (Max of 1):
The Committee has determined that there are assistant coaches who have made a large impact on our game. For many reasons, they have not been able to be head coaches for the required amount of time. Despite that, they have grown our game in such ways that they have become worthy of recognition.
The distinguishing factor between this category and the contributor is that this person is/was a coach who meets the following criteria:
Legacy Category (Max of 2):
The Committee recognizes the importance of those who came before us. This category is used to recognize the founders of our game in Michigan. Some coaches who pioneered our game in the 1970s and 80s deserve to be remembered and celebrated. Knowing that official records and documents are mostly lost to history, the committee will rely on a panel of coaches/players from that era who can make recommendations for consideration.
Contributor Category (Max of 2):
The Committee will accept any and all nominations to this category. Specific service and longevity will be key points of discussion. The committee will be generous in the latitude of any contributor's resume as it relates to the MHSLCA.
Each year, the MHSLCA will accept nominations during an open nomination period using the form below.
To nominate a person for consideration for our Hall of Fame, please follow THIS LINK to the online nomination form. Nominations remain on file for a period of three years. At that point, if not yet selected, a new nomination will be required.
The nominees that still have active nominations can be found HERE.
