Michigan High School Lacrosse Association Deadlines
- All Association Awards require paid dues. The schools that have paid for the 2018-19 season can be seen HERE. For a list of all known Head Coaches can be seen under 'Contacts' on the home page or by clicking HERE.
- Please note that only programs that have purchased a 'School Membership' can submit nominees for postseason awards. In other words, you must be a member to receive an award.
- Mary Gay Jolly Family Scholarship- Applications due 5/15. Click HERE for the nomination form.
- All State Honors- Due May 20th- The process for All State is unchanged for 2019 EXCEPT for the number of nominations. The number of nominees for #1 seeds has been reduced from 10 to 8. For all the information on our All State Selection Process and the form required for nominations, click HERE.
- Academic All State- Due June 1, 2019- For all the criteria for Academic All State, please click HERE. Please note that these awards can be submitted as soon as your rosters are set. The award is based on five semesters for Juniors and seven semesters for Seniors.
- Post Season Association awards for Coaches will be accepted at the Year End meeting and voted by the attending members. Awards include: D1 Coach of the Year, D2 Coach of the Year, D1 Assistant Coach of the Year, D2 Assistant coach of the Year. and MHSLCA Man of the Year.
- 'Mr. Lacrosse' Michigan- Online nominations due 5/24. This selection is the top player that highest number of votes in the All American voting. Just a reminder that All American nominations are due 5/24
US Lacrosse Awards
****Note that beginning in 2016, US Lacrosse requires an online nomination with a hard due date. No one, regardless of the situation, can add a name to the ballot for someone that has not been nominated online. In addition, the All Academic Award requires additional supporting documentation that must be received to the local Chair before the deadline.
- All American - Online nominations due 5/24. Ballots will be available to all Head Coaches on the evening of 5/24 and must be returned by 6/1.
- All Academic- Online nominations due 5/24. Supporting documentation must be received to the Chair by 5/24.
- Bob Scott Award- Online nomination due 5/24. This award recognizes the state's player that goes above and beyond in service to his team, school, and community. It is voted on by all coaches (as are all USL awards) and must be a Senior. For more information on the USL Bob Scott Award, click HERE.
