All America Honors (Field and Academic)
Michigan All America honors will be awarded through the process established by US Lacrosse.
National Senior Showcase Awards
Michigan Senior Showcase recipients shall be awarded through the process established by
US Lacrosse.
Michigan Coach of the Year
Michigan Coach of the Year recipients shall be awarded through the process established by US Lacrosse
Michigan Assistant Coach of the Year
Michigan Assistant Coach of the Year  recipients shall be awarded through the process established by US Lacrosse
Michigan Man of the Year
Michigan Man of the Year recipients shall be awarded through the process established by US Lacrosse.
Michigan Player of the Year (Chuck Vorce Award)  The Michigan Player of the year shall be the All America honoree who received the most votes through the US Lacrosse Process.  Michigan Don Lutz award - presented to the player who exemplifies the spirit and dedication to the game that extends beyond the lines of the playing field.
MHSLCA - Gene Reilly - Unsung Hero Award - each member HS team will receive a plaque for their player who may not get state-wide recognition, but whose hustle, tenacity and competitive spirit aids in the success of the team.

 Additional awards may be established at anytime with a quorum vote.

Biographical Information on Chuck Vorce , Don Lutz and Gene Reilly.
The Don Lutz Award - named to honor Don Lutz , one of  legendary mentors in Michigan Lacrosse History. Don, a  football player in college also started the club team at Ohio University. Upon receiving a teaching position at L'Anse Creuse High School, Don started a HS lacrosse program with 15 sophomores  in 1969. In 1970, the squad from L'Anse Creuse played the first  season of lacrosse against local collegiate club teams (U of M, Wayne State) and Lake Ridge Academy of Ohio. In 1971, Don Lutz' LC squad  and Gene Reilly's Detroit Country Day squad competed in the first game between two(2) Michigan High School Programs. The Award seeks to honor " the lacrosse player who brings honor to himself, his team, his opponent and the sport by playing to the best of his ability, within the rules and in the spirit of the game"
The Gene Reilly Unsung Hero Award - named to honor Gene Reilly , another one of the legendary mentors of  Michigan Lacrosse.  Gene began coaching lacrosse at Detroit Country Day  in 1971 and was Don Lutz' opponent in the first ever HS lacrosse game in the Wolverine State. Gene coached from 1971-1980 and garnered 6 state champions, 6 US lacrosse All Americans and won 2 Midwest Championships. The award seeks to honor a player  on each team who may not get achieve state wide honors, but whose hustle, tenacity and competitive spirit aids the success of the team.
